1. Road Transportation

• Total Road Length: ~2,78,813 km (as of March 2022).

National Highways (NH)

• Longest NH in Rajasthan: NH-15 (New No: NH-62/11/68) passes through the Western border (Ganganagar to Jaisalmer/Barmer).
• Shortest NH: NH-71 B (New No: NH-919) in Rewari-Dharuhera (Alwar).
• NH with most districts: NH-8 (New No: NH-48/58) is the most important/busy road connecting Delhi-Jaipur-Mumbai.
• Maximum NH Length: Found in the Udaipur district.
• Minimum NH Length: Found in the Dholpur district.

2. Railway Transportation

• Total Railway Route: ~6,019 km.
• Zonal Headquarters: North Western Railway (NWR) is headquartered at Jaipur (est. 2002).
• Railway Zones in Rajasthan: Primarily North Western Railway and West Central Railway (Kota).
• Unique Features:
  • Jaipur Metro: Rajasthan's first and only metro rail system (est. 2015).
  • Model Railway Station: Ajmer was designated as the first model station.

3. Air Transportation

• International Airport: Saneer Airport (Jaipur). It is the only international airport in the state.
• Civil Airports: Jodhpur, Udaipur (Dabok), Bikaner (Nal), Kota, Jaisalmer.
• Strategic/Airforce Bases: Nal (Bikaner), Uttarlai (Barmer), Phalodi (Jodhpur), Suratgarh (Ganganagar).

4. Major Industrial Corridors & Pipelines

• DMIC (Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor): 39% of the corridor length passes through Rajasthan across 22 districts.
• Natural Gas pipeline: HBJ Pipeline passes through Rajasthan (Chhabra/Anta/Gadepan).
