Mewar (now Udaipur City & Rural, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Salumber, Shahpura) is home to the Guhil/Sisodia dynasty, the world's oldest continuous lineage. They are known as "Hindua Suraj" (The Sun of the Hindus).
