Regional Dynasties: The Frontier Guards of Rajasthan

While the major powers like Mewar and Marwar dominated the central narrative, the regional dynasties of the Hadas (Bundi/Kota), Bhatis (Jaisalmer), Jats (Bharatpur), and Yadavs (Karauli) played a crucial role in protecting Rajasthan's borders and enriching its culture.

4. The Yadavs of Karauli and Jaisalmer

  • The Karauli dynasty also traces its lineage to Yadu-vansh.
  • Arjun Pal: Founded Karauli and built the famous Kalyanji temple.
