Phase 3: Folk Dances (Cultural Highs)

1. Ghoomar (The State Dance)

  • Known as the "Soul of Rajasthan Dances". Only for women. The 8 steps are called Sawai.

2. Kalbeliya (Snake Charmers)

  • UNESCO List (2010): Intangible Cultural Heritage. Famous dancer: Gulabo Sapera.

3. Kachhi Ghodi (Shekhawati)

  • A professional dance performed with dummy horses. Famous for "Flower Petal" movement pattern.
